Reishi is a large, dark mushroom with a glossy exterior and a woody texture. The ancient medicinal mushroom has a long history of use for promoting health and longevity in China, Japan, and other Asian countries.

Triterpenes are one of the primary beneficial compounds in reishi alongside beta glucans. Our reishi spore oil contains 20% triterpenes making it one of the strongest on the market.

Mushrooms are fungi that bear spores which are for reproduction and at the end of their growing season, they release millions of spores. Studies have found them to contain the highest concentration of bioactive materials of the mushroom including triterpenes, more than the mushroom itself.

Being called ‘lingzhi’ in Chinese, traditional Chinese medicine has used Reishi mushrooms for over 2000 years. Though they had not extracted triterpenes or even discovered their existence, TCM practitioners thousands of years ago were able to hypothesise that a group of chemicals were responsible for these marvellous benefits. However, with advancing scientific studies and knowledge, today we have been able to identify and isolate these compounds which, when used regularly, can promote health and encourage long life.

I bought this product to use alongside Montmorency cherry and lemon balm to help me stay asleep. I now sleep all night since taking spore oil. However I find this an expensive product so I’ve just ordered Reishi mushroom powder and I will see if that helps me sleep. If not, I’ll be back on the spore oil! It beats prescription drugs which all have side effects. No side effects other than relaxation with Reishi spore oil.

I have been self treating with Reishi Mushroom Spore Oil for several years because I have prostate cancer. While not a clinical trial, it appears to have kept my PSA level down to around 5.6 (I am 75 years old). There could be a placebo effect at play but I shall continue to take it. Thank you

I have been using Time Health products now for some time. This is after trying various products. The results have been very good for the problems I suffer. Recently I decided to try their Reishi Spore oil seem to have helped a with my problem. I take this separately from their Reishi high strength capsule. As I think the combination offered greater benefits. I would definite recommend any of their products. I have every sent some of their products to family members in America, as in my opinion it offers better quality.
