The Time Health Story
The world we live in, today.
At Time Health, we believe that vibrant health begins with nature. Our journey started in 2016 when our founder, Carl Jenkins, recognised a growing nutritional gap in modern diets. Even with the best intentions, the depletion of soil quality means that today’s food often lacks the essential nutrients our bodies need to truly thrive.
Bleak alternatives
Carl saw a problem: most supplements on the market were synthetic, heavily processed, and filled with additives. These isolated, artificial nutrients are difficult for the body to recognise and absorb, leaving people without the support they need. Determined to make a difference, he set out to create a new standard in supplementation - one rooted in nature and driven by science.
Something new
Time Health was born with a simple but powerful mission: to craft supplements made from natural ingredients, providing nutrients in their most natural and effective form - nourishing the body the way nature intended.
Our Certifications
SALSA
Safe and Local Supplier Approval
SALSA is widely recognised as the leading food safety certification scheme for the UK’s smaller food and drink businesses. Approval certification is only granted to suppliers who are able to demonstrate to a SALSA auditor, that they are able to produce and supply safe and legal food and are committed to continually meeting the requirements of the SALSA standard.
Soil Association
Organic Certified
The Soil Assocation carefully examine each and every stage of the supply chain, from farming to finished product. With this in mind, we were keen to join forces with them as we believe it demonstrates the high quality processes we have in place for processing these ingredients ourselves.
Food Standards Agency
Rated 5/5 - Very Good
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) is a department of the UK government, responsible for ensuring that food is safe, properly labelled, and of high quality for consumers. We hold a 5/5 (Very Good) rating by the FSA, which is the highest standard available, reflecting our unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest levels of food hygiene and safety.
Our Causes
Trees planted
Reforestation, particularly in tropical regions, is a vital tool in addressing the climate crisis by restoring forests that have suffered extensive destruction and biodiversity loss. Once covering 12% of the world’s landmass, tropical forests now cover just 5%. Through planting ecologically appropriate trees, supporting local communities, and protecting new growth, reforestation promotes biodiversity, carbon sequestration, and numerous other benefits. Trees provide habitat and food for wildlife, stabilise soil, purify air and water, offer sustainable products for local people, protect coastlines, and even support mental health. Since 2021, Time Health has committed to planting a tree with every order, funding over 100,000 trees worldwide with the support of our customers.
Restoring Blue Carbon Ecosystems
The ocean acts as a major carbon sink, with coastal ecosystems such as mangroves, salt marshes, and seagrasses absorbing and storing vast amounts of carbon in soil and sediment. These blue carbon ecosystems can store up to five times more carbon than tropical forests while also supporting biodiversity, protecting coastlines, and sustaining local livelihoods. Restoring and protecting degraded coastal wetlands not only reduces greenhouse gas emissions but also strengthens their role in climate adaptation and sustainable development. By funding mangrove development projects, we help safeguard these vital ecosystems so they can continue to thrive as long-term carbon sinks.
Rewilding
Rewilding is the restoration of ecosystems to a state where nature can take care of itself, with minimal human intervention. It focuses on reinstating natural processes and, where possible, missing species, without aiming for a fixed end point. All degraded ecosystems can be rewilded, and in the UK, restoring six million hectares of woodland, peat bogs, heaths, and grasslands could sequester 47 million tonnes of CO₂ annually. In forests, rewilding often means allowing land to revert naturally, enabling trees, soil, and vegetation to absorb carbon while restoring vital ecosystem functions. For example, at Ecologi’s forest sites in Dalry, Scotland, woolly pigs are used to churn soil and clear bracken, improving biodiversity and creating conditions for new growth.
