A: No, inositol should be taken continuously throughout your cycle to work effectively.

Q: I’ve noticed some changes in my cycle since I’ve started taking inositol, is this normal?

A: Inositol does not work overnight, the body takes some time to adjust to myo-inositol and d-chiro-inositol, hence why clinical studies into inositol are conducted over a number of months or even years rather than weeks. During this initial adjustment phase, it is quite common for people to notice some initial disruption to their cycle, however this usually subsides with continued use.
